Time To Talk

Time To Talk offers you the time and support to make the changes you want so you can feel better. We can help you to regain control of your life, enjoy and participate in life again, develop a new understanding of your difficulties and learn new ways of coping.

Time to Talk is an NHS service offering free, confidential talking therapy to adults registered with a GP in West Sussex.

If you’re feeling low, anxious, or worried, talking therapies can really help you and are available in person, on the phone and via video call. Time to Talk can also help people with

  • Depression
  • Phobias
  • Social anxiety
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Post-traumatic stress disorders
  • Health anxiety
  • Low self-esteem or low confidence
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Bereavement

How can I access the service?

You can self-refer to Time to Talk – you don’t need to speak to your GP first. If you would rather speak to your GP first, they can refer you with your permission. You can self-refer by phone, or you can complete an online self-referral form. Once you’ve been referred into the service, one of the Time to Talk team will be in touch with you for an initial assessment.

Staying Well - Crawley

Staying Well, Crawley is an open, empathic, non-judgmental service for individuals who would benefit from mental health support outside of normal working hours.

Run in partnership by Richmond Fellowship and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Open Mon to Fri 17:00-23:00 and 15:00-23:00 on weekends and bank holidays, 365 days a year, to adults over the age of 18.

The service is appointment only and you can refer yourself or be referred by someone who supports you. Some of the support the service can offer includes:

  • Challenging negative thoughts
  • Making a crisis prevention plan
  • Managing anxiety
  • Managing depression
  • Managing your wellbeing
  • Stress management

Time to Talk Health is a NHS Service for residents registered with a West Sussex GP who are in need of support to cope/manage with any or all of the following long-term health conditions:

  • Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.
