2017-18 Flu Season

We are now taking bookings for flu vaccinations. Clinics start from Monday 25th September. Our annual newsletter, produced by the Leacroft Support Group, is available to download from this page or from the link below.

We will be holding a Saturday flu clinic on 7th October from 8am to 12pm. Please book early. These clinics are ideal for working parents with children aged 2-3 who are eligible for the free nasal spray vaccination, or for working people in other at risk groups.

You are eligible for a free vaccination if you are 65 or over on 31/3/2018, or if you have a complicating condition that may put you at risk. Please see the newsletter for a full breakdown or call us at the surgery if you are unsure. Children aged 2-3 are also eligible.

Congratulations!

We are delighted to announce that our Nurse Partner, Joan Jefferis, has been awarded a BSc in Professional Practice. We are extremely proud of her for all her hard work and years of dedication to Leacroft patients.

New Patient Registration

We are pleased to inform the local community that from Thursday 29th June, Leacroft Medical Practice will be reopening our list to new patients.

Please be aware that our practice boundary means that we can only accept new patients from Langley Green, Ifield, Southgate, Northgate, West Green and Forge Wood.

If you wish to register with us, please ask for assistance at Reception between 11.30am and 12.30pm, and 3.30pm and 5.30pm. We are afraid that we cannot register patients outside of these times and you will be asked to call back later if requesting to do so.

Medical Students

We are proud to be a GP training practice, and to be helping to train the next generation of doctors to look after you and your family. This means that for several months of the year, we host medical students on placement from Brighton and Sussex Medical School. It is possible that a medical student may be scheduled to observe your consultation with any one of our clinicians. If you do not feel comfortable with this, please let our Reception team know either when booking your appointment or on arrival. You can also ask the student to leave at any point during your consultation should you change your mind.

Extended Access - Survey

Crawley CCG would like to gather patient feedback on the future provision of extended access in Crawley, which means providing access to GP services at more convenient times such as evenings and weekends.

Please take 5 minutes to complete the survery by clicking the link below to ensure your voice is heard.

NAMED ALLOCATED GP

All of our patients now have a named allocated GP. Currently, for all patients this GP is Dr. Charlotte Ruglys.

This does not affect anyone's ability to see any of the clinicians at the practice.

THANK YOU
